Naperville IL Family/Baby Portraits
So the Chicagoland area gets a decent snowfall, a whopping 5 inches of snow overnight, and I have to drive through it all to get to an in-home portrait session in Naperville IL. Actually, it was well worth it. This family was fun and full of life... they even had a cute little 14 week old girl and a rambunctious little 2 1/2 yr old boy waiting for me when I arrived : ) I later learned of this little dude's fascination with Thomas and Friends which almost led me to putting my gear down and participating in a little play time, but I stayed strong and didn't give in... it was quite hard.
'58 Willys Fire Truck - Chicagoland Gearhead
Before the bitter cold and extreme snow of the Chicago area landed upon us I had the great pleasure to meet up with Mark Smazik, proud owner of this 1958 Willys Fire Truck, for an inside feature for Gearhead News. The truck originally came from a state mental hospital so the decision was made to shoot on location at Joliet's old prison; the same prison that was used in Blues Brothers and the TV series Prison Break to name a few. The Willys was restored by Mark himself and I must say, I really don't know fire trucks but it didn't appear that a single detail went untouched. Top to bottom and front to back, this beast was polished to a high luster. Beautiful ride Mark!
