Joliet Senior Photos ~ Melissa

Meet Melissa! This girl is tough and braved some chilly temps the other weekend during her first senior portrait session which we photographed right here in Joliet. We'll be creating many more portraits together throughout her senior year at JCA and it's gonna be a blast!!! Can't wait to see her new look later this week too. Joliet Photography - Big Brothers Big Sisters

The other weekend Big Brothers Big Sisters of Will and Grundy Counties held it's Bowl For Kids' Sake VIP Event just down the road at Crest Hill Lanes and what a blast this bunch was! So glad I was able to come out to help and photograph the event! Well done and thanks for a great time!!!

Joliet Engagement Photos ~ Catie + Chris

Had an absolutely awesome time with Catie and Chris at their engagement session today! Mid-winter and we saw 50 degrees... but windy and still a tad chilly nonetheless... leave it to this pair to turn up the heat and make it happen! Great work guys! It's gonna be fun!!! And I cannot wait!!!

Tinley Park High School Swimmer ~ Caily

Made it out to Andrew High School in Tinley Park to meet with Caily and create some awesome swim portraits to document her amazing achievement in the 100 yard breaststroke at the IHSA girls state swim competition. Not only did Caily place at state, she also recorded a personal best AND a school record.

In addition to Caily's superstar swimming, she also rocked her portrait session like a pro! Well done Caily!!!

Family Pictures With Santa

Made it out with the kids for a little Santa picture action the other day and although they wouldn't stop chattin' about Santa this and Santa that, ya just never know what's gonna happen. Oddly enough the baby of the bunch didn't make a peep. And thankfully nobody screamed. I always picture that scene in 'A Christmas Story' where Ralphie's brother breaks down. Nope... none of that. 

There was waving and talk of what was to come... and then it came. It was their turn and Emma froze as solid as a child laying in bed on Christmas evening listening quietly for hoofs on the rooftop with Santa's sleigh. I nudged, she pushed back. Luckily no melt down. Just a motionless child playing dead and hoping this strange old man wouldn't notice she was there. I'll settle for that.

Grace, the oldest, on the other hand was full of insight... imagine that : )  She even mentioned a few new ideas that I truly hope Santa is on top of... hint, hint, hint : )
